A new home for #puppy
In a certain village there lived an old man named Muthu Menike. She met the daily needs of her life by weaving coconut fronds. Here, well-dried coconut branches are taken, dipped in water for a day or two, and woven.
One day, this old man who went to his work as usual met a puppy that had been left on the road. This little puppy had a hideous appearance with a body covered in brown fur, drooping ears and a raised, curved muzzle. Having lived alone for a long time after being separated from her dead husband and married children, she came up with a great idea. That is to take and raise the puppy on your own. The woman immediately took the puppy home, bathed it, cleaned it, gave it food and water and left for her work again.
As time went on, one day, Muthu Menike, who was weaving the coconut branches that had been dipped in water the day before, saw her pet barking at something incessantly. She quickly went there and saw the terrifying sight of a huge cobra being lifted up in the form of a ball of foam. She immediately called the pet away, went inside the house, burned some dry chili pods and chased away the cobra. She felt great joy at being protected by the pet that she had taken care of until now. She patted the pet's head in gratitude and went back to finish her work. They lived happily ever after.
