The four sons and the treasure
The four sons and the treasure
Once upon a time a father had four sons. As these four sons grew up, they became different
people. The elder son became a sailor. The second son became an archer. The third son
became a thief. The fourth son became a carpenter.
After some time passed, the father heard about a treasure. Later he looked into this. He
came to known that the treasure was on an island surrounded by the sea and that it was
inhabited by hawks and that the hawks guarded the treasure. Later he told all these
information to his four sons. The four of them discussed about this and took a boat the next
morning to get the treasure.
The son, who was engaged in navigation took them to the island by boat. The son, who was
engaged in theft, stole the treasure from the place where hawks lived. Then they took the
treasure and left for home by boat. Then the hawks started attacking them when they
realized that there was no treasure.
The son, who is an archer, killed the hawks with a bow. The big hawks that was killed fell
into the boat and damaged it, causing the boat to sink. The son, who is working in carpentry
repaired the damaged parts of the boat so that did not sink. Thus they all reached home
without any trouble. Then the treasure was shared equally among all and they lived happily
