Once upon a time a merchant walked the street with the cloths he had to sell. He walked a long time, long way passing towns and so many villages. The Marchant was very tired now. So, this merchant saw a big Buddha statue. The merchant went there and lay down on the floor and slept. He sleeps very well. It’s been a long time. When the merchant woke up, he realizes that a thief has taken his stock of clothes.
The merchant told the police about this theft, but the police could not catch the thief. Finally, the case was taken to court. So there was a very intelligent judge in this court.
He said that since the thief could not be found, the Buddha statue there should be held responsible for this theft. Therefore, the Buddha statue was immediately ordered to be brought to the court.
When the people of the city came to know about this incident, the had to come to the court with a smile to see this. Seeing this, the judge said that all these people should be arrested for disrespecting the court by shouting and laughing. When the people heard that, they were very scared and started crying. The judge then imposed a fine on all these people. That means that everyone should bring stock of cloths within three days. So, people brought cloth as mentioned. Meanwhile, the person who stole the cloth also brought a stock of cloth. At that time, the thief was caught.
That way, we can face the many problems that come in life according to the situation.
