Once upon a time there lived two friends in a village. One friend’s name is Kasun. The other friends name is Sandun. These two friends lived verry happily and cooperatively. Both these friends lived with their mother. 

When this time passed, Kasun’s mother suddenly fell ill. Kasun took his mother to the doctor. He wrote some medicine and told her to bring it to her as soon as possible. But Kasun did not have money at that time. He took her mother home.

It rained heavily that night. Water came into the house from the holes in the roof of Kasun’s house. Because of this, his mother could not bear the cold. His mother’s illness worsened. Kasun could not think what to do. Hewent to sadun’s house in the train. By that time, Sandun was sleeping soundly with his mother. After that sandun and Kasun picked up mother and went out in the rain. 

But it is raining heavily. When I took mother and went a little distance, I saw that the road was full of water. These two did not get to go far with their mother. After a while, the river water started to rise. The river water filled up to the neck of these two friends. But these two tried to lift the mother. But can’t go any further. Mother’s illness also increased. After a while, the mother fainted. These two were very scared at that time. They realized that they had to take the mother as soon as possible. They prayed in the name of their friendship that the water of the river would recede.
